The Team
Mikael Colville-Andersen is a filmmaker, photographer and journalist who is also Copenhagen’s leading bicycle ambassador. For over three years he has been documenting Copenhagen’s unique bicycle culture in photographs and films. A social documentary from an anthopological perspective. Surprisingly, in 120 years of the bicycle in Denmark, he’s the first one to do so. He is the founder and editor of three renowned blogs about cycling; Copenhagenize.com and Copenhagen Cycle Chic as well as The Slow Bicycle Movement.
He exports his extensive knowledge and experience about bicycle culture and infrastructure to cities and towns wishing to gear up for bicycle culture 2.0.
Troels Heien is an architect, graphic designer and photographer from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture. In 2003 he started the Design and Communications bureau Monoline. His portfolio reflects his main focus of implementing Identity Programs, Campaigns and Graphic Design to Urban Spaces. His work is thus seen throughout Copenhagen, e.g. the ‘I bike Copenhagen’ and ‘Green Wave for Bicycles’ identities. Troels Heien is appointed by ‘Danish Designers’ as a jury member for the design competition of the municipal of Copenhagen’s new bike share system.
