“Each society develops in a unique way and mobility is always an important part of change in society.”
Strategist and trendwatcher Johan wants his company to play a role in the development of smart solutions and cooperation in mobility. One smart mobility solution the Dutch employ is the use of the bicycle. It is not only smart within the mobility system, but also within other important policy fields like health, social cohesion and the environment. It is his challenge to retrofit Dutch experiences to local circumstances abroad.
Mary is an urban mobility consultant and is responsible for designing elegant solutions for bicycle infrastructure and developing communications campaigns. Her degree in Environmental Infrastructure and Urban Planning, from the University of North Carolina and the University of Copenhagen, provides a fresh international perspective, drawing on both North American and European experience.
Angela contributes where ‘movement’ and ‘people’ meet. She works on projects at local, national and international levels and specializes in sustainable mobility and behavioural change, advising clients in the fields of cycling and electric bicycling, travel plans, the use of public transport and traffic safety. In her work she creates a
synergy between people’s physical movement and their mental movement. Challenging people to do things that they are not used to, or to do things differently.
With a background in human geography and education, including adult learning, Angela is an experienced speaker, trainer and facilitator of meetings and workshops.
