The Copenhagenize Report
The city that never sleeps is getting its act into gear and, under bold leadership, New York is making amends for decades of weak cycling policy. Cycling in the boroughs has taken off and major efforts have been made on Manhattan to implement safe, separated cycle tracks. A combination of grassroots support and political will are transforming the cityscape. If New York takes off like Paris and London have, we'll see a domino effect in cities around the world. New York possesses great responsibility.

Copenhagenize Fixes
With over 400 cities having implemented bike share programmes, it's high time New York follows suit. There is still an unfortunate amount of negative promotion of cycling through helmet promotion and singular focus on cyclists as rogues – in a city where all traffic users are equally naughty. We’re looking forward to seeing how a properly implemented bike share program will boost bike traffic beyond the hipsters. Likewise, it’s going to be exciting to see, what will happen when your separated cycle tracks actually link up with each other. And while you’re at it, you should re-think your bike lanes on your one-way boulevards, because they’re just weird and we can't figure them out.
