The Copenhagenize Report
San Francisco has an amazing international reputation for its bicycle culture and the city's devil-may-care attitude is a strength. There are impressive signs in growth in modal share and more bike infrastructure is under development. In many cities sub-cultures are a hindrance to the development of mainstream bicycle culture but in San Francisco the sub-cultures are strong and open to returning the bicycle to everyone. Strong advocacy is another force that make us believe firmly that San Francisco is America's Great Bike Hope.

Copenhagenize Fixes
For all the ideas and visions that are on the table, we wouldn’t mind if you started pedaling a bit faster to get them implemented. It's all there for the taking. More separated cycle tracks, parking facilities and traffic calming will take the city to the next level. And having ridden around the city on a single-speed, with three girls on Dutch bikes, we don’t want to hear any more whining about your hills.
